Before I launch into a spiel about myself, my recent experiences and why I’ve been MIA on here for the last 12 months or so, PLEASE visit StartUp Creative and listen to her Black Lives Matter podcast. My dear friend Kaylene offers incredible insights into how you can peacefully protest and make lasting change. More than ever, my biggest hope is that you treat others how you’d like to be treated. Educate yourself, take responsibility and do your best – I know I am.
2020 seems to be the year of truths exposed, the blaring awareness of our strengths and weaknesses and best of all, the power we all hold individually to make a difference in not just our own lives, but others too.
I’ve spent the best part of the last 12 months diving internally, taking stock of what needed to change and then drawing on resources to cultivate this next evolution of myself and my business. As a byproduct of doing the work, I’ve found a three-tiered approach that seems to be providing positive results when I follow the ‘protocol’ and take action consistently.
I’m looking forward to carrying these learnings with me and weaving them throughout my current offerings of brand and marketing strategy development.
Moving forward, I hope to educate and inspire by taking honest, consistent and imperfect action. Because if there’s one thing we’ve learnt in recent months, it’s in doing the actual work that propels us forward and creates change.
