I’ve made a career out of building brands and in my hefty 13+ years or so in the game there are a few main queries and concerns from people looking to build their own that I’m keen to address.
I find myself ushering the words ‘human-first’ time and time again when I meet with new clients seeking out branding and marketing advice. Before even thinking about getting a logo designed, I urge people to take a human-first approach.
Humanising your brand has many benefits but primarily you’re able to develop a deeper connection with your clients and customers. Some other benefits are:
🖐️ Insight – finding fresh perspectives that go deeper to reveal human truths
🖐️ Innovation – developing new solutions that deliver in alignment with human needs and goals
🖐️ Impact – creating deliverables that move, motivate and catalyse change
You can create a brand story that not only engages people’s emotions and grabs attention but SELLS, which is why you’re creating a brand in the first place – right? The alternative isn’t so succinct and you run the risk of being lost in a sea of other brands within the market.
